Milan P. Kićevac is a Serbian film and television producer whose work is deeply rooted in love for his people, spirituality, and the forgotten heroes of Serbian history. A graduate of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade with a degree in Film and TV Production (equivalent to a Master’s under the Bologna Process), he has spent more than two decades building bridges between the past and the present, between Serbia and the world.
Since 1995, he has lived in Budapest with his family, where, as a permanent resident, he has dedicated himself to preserving and promoting Serbian culture and spirituality. He serves as President of the Serbian Orthodox Church Parish of the Cathedral of Saint George in Budapest, and is the founder of the “COOLTURE” Foundation and the “COOLTURE-Serbia” citizens’ association.
His productions reflect a clear mission: to keep the truth, values, and historical figures of Serbian heritage visible in a time that too easily forgets. Films such as Maestro, Arsen Karađorđević, Migrations Continue Forever, The Cradle, Saint Jacob of Tumane, and many others, illuminate the lives of those who shaped Serbian history through their actions, faith, and vision.
His work has also been recognized internationally. He founded the “Serbiana” International Film Festival in Guayaquil, Ecuador (2023), under the patronage of Serbia’s Ministry of Culture, to promote Serbian cultural and spiritual heritage in unexpected yet much-needed places.
Kićevac is the recipient of numerous international awards, including the “Golden Knight” for Maestro, the Grand Prix at the “Golden Buklija” Festival for Migrations Continue Forever, and multiple honors at the “Soul’s Vigil,” “Serbian Bollywood,” and “Theotokos’ Veil” festivals. His work is not merely an artistic endeavor—it is a testament of love for his roots, values, and the people who embody them.
Dividing his time between Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Budapest, Milan Kićevac creates works that travel far beyond, speaking the universal language of compassion, sacrifice, and remembrance.
