Forteca International Film Festival Montenegro, in cooperation with the Balkan Nordic Film Festival and the SNOWE Project,
we have the pleasure to invite your film to the
FIFF Perast Montenegro
between 26-30th July 2022,
at Piazza Perast, Museum Perast Montenegro, Our Lady of the Rocks, Conte restaurant, with more.
FIFFP supports and promotes new film production, now talents, together with women participation in Film industry around the world. Forteca (Fortezza in Latin languages) means Fortress, so our targets are narration about identity, nation, history, resistance and challenges, boundaries and shapes that new authors film as media extends. It will accomplish a mission to encourage and promote global and local filmmaking from European perspective with focus on Nordic filmmakers.
We want invite films and guests from your country to the festival. Filmmakers can submit their film through platform filmfreeway.com or via www.fiffperast.com, the link added on the source website.
FIFFP is a natural extension to the Balkans Nordic Film Festival (BaNeFF) which is running 12 years, together with BaNeFF doc:short and SNOWE which hosts films from Balkan region, in the Nordic countries. It is time to recoup this relation and see international movies from Nordic perspective hosted in Balkan, Perast.

Tvrdjava Sveti Krst ili popularno nazvana FORTECA nalazi se iznad gradskog jezgra, na mjestu na kom se nalazila najstarija peraška crkvica – Crkva Svetog Krsta za koju se smatra da potiče čak iz IX vijeka, po kojoj je tvrdjava i dobila ime. Kult Svetog Krsta u Perastu se vezuje za čuvanje mletačke ratne zastave (s krstom i lavom – Svetog Marka), pa čak i srednjevjekovne srpske zastave (tzv.Krstaš-barjak).
Prema zapisima Libro verde X, 15 (opstine Perast), 1570. godine je podignuta prva tvrdjava iznad grada. Ima indicija da je velika pohara Perasta odstrane gusara 1624.g. bila povod za izgradnju tvrdjave ali, najvjerovatnije je u pitanju proširenje več postojeće.
S obzirom da je Perast u to vrijeme sa svih strana bio okružen teritorijom koja je bila pod Otomanskom upravom, ozbiljan nedostatak bio mu je nepostojanje kontinualnog gradskog perimetra ali zbog visokih troškova, sagradjena je samo manje utvrdjenje: ‘za podići vjernim našim Peraštanima jedno skloniste da sačuvaju zivot’.
U tvrdjavi je najčešće boravila malobrojna mletačka posada, kojom je zapovijedao Kaštelan, biran od peraške opštine, a platu je primao od Venecije.Tvrdjava je važnu ulogu odigrala tokom turskog napada na Perast 15.maja 1654.
U doba Napoleonove vladavine Bokom, do 13. oktobra 1813 g. u tvrdjavi je boravila francuska vojska, a izmedju 1814 – 1895 g. austrijanci, koji su po napuštanju odnijeli topove i ostalu opremu. Prema podacima potpuno je puštena 1911.godine.
U temeljima FORTECE započinjemo s novim Filmskim Festivalom – FORTECA Medjunarodni Filmski Festival Perast.
