NAJBOLJI FILM FIFFP 2022 dele:
Najbolji dugometražni igrani film ovogodišnjeg izdanja festival dele:
„Utvandarna/ The Emigrants , Sweden 2021, reditelj Erik Poppe.
OBRAZLOZENJE: Ovo je filmsko ostvarenje bogate dramaturške strukture, odlične fotografije, suptilne režije i epske snage u propitivanju, uvijek aktuelne, a pogotovu kod nas, egzistencijalno značajne teme potrage, prvo one Marksove: „vječite potrage čovjeka za hranom“ a opet i one druge, za identitetom. Prilagodjavanje kroz arhetipsku, nomadsku potragu za boljim mjestom za život mijenja pojedinca ali i sva ta mjesta koja je , širom planete čovjek, prilagodio sebi. Šta je cijena repatriranja, gdje je zaista naš dom, koje uspomene kao teret nosimo sa sobom, a koje su balast, samo su neka od pitanja koja otvara ova upečatljiva, melodramski osjećajna priča iskusnog reditelja. Po osjećaju za atmosferu, mogli bi ga nazvati „srednjim bratom“ uz Terensa Malika (Terrence Frederick Malick) kao najstarijeg, i Roberta Egersa kao najmladjeg „filmskog brata“. Najbolja rezija u ovoj kategoriji – Erik Poppe.

OBRAZLOZENJE: aktuelna tema koja nas na prvi pogled vraca u vremena ratova ali zapravo prikazuje dublje socijalne nesklade i opasnost koju reditelj Shmit svojim prepoznatljivim stilom uspesno poentira i otvara temu koju svi izbegavamo. Najbolji glavni glumac– Rene Bitorajac.

Najbolji dokumentarni film (sve dužine):
Neki Novi Brodvej/Some New Broadway, 2021, Bosnia And Herzegovina, reditelj Denis Bojić.
U izuzetno jakoj konkurenciji, ovaj film pobedjuje iz dva razloga: Prvi je odlična struktura i režija, a drugi je tema koja je ,našem, na žalost, predcivilizacijskom balkanskom ambijentu itekako bliska i značajna za “otvoriti”. Teme inkluzije lica sa daunovim sindromom u društvo, tabua vezanih za njihov porodični život i teškoće njihovih najbližih i staratelja , na ovaj način upričane u dokumentarnu strukturu su angažovane, direktne, oplemenjujuće, izuzetno katarzične i edukativne.

OBRAZLOZENJE: Prica o snazi volje jednog čoveka da preokrene svet. Svojom originalnošću i pristupom temi, daje gledaocu nove vidike, šire od onih u kojima je Gandi delovao.
NAGRADA ZA KRATKI IGRANI FILM

OBRAZLOZENJE: most kao simbol spajanja u ovom filmu ostvaruje svoj puni smisao kada glavni glumac odustane od svoje odluke o konacnom kraju. U konkurenciji različitih dužina, našla se neka zlatna sredina. Film od skoro deset minuta, zanatski, tematski pa čak i poetski zaokružen, što garantuje temeljan utisak i upućuje gledaoca da film lako preporuči drugima, a na žalost, ima dosta ljudi koji bi trebalo da ga pogledaju, jer je tema besmisla i usamljenosti, pored svih udobnosti i prečica koje smo kao tehnološki superiorna rasa sebi obezbijedili, itekako aktuelna.

NAJBOLJI ANIMIRANI FILM: Svetlost i senke
Svetlosti i senke/Lights & Shadows, 2020, Serbia, autor- Rastko Ćirić.
… je svakako, kreativan, zanimljiv „crtać“, koji u kratkom formatu „rezimira“ Geteovog Fausta, približava ga mladjoj publici, a opet, tu su i „slojevi „ za odrasle. Inventivan, slojevit, kroz suštinski malo likovnih elemenata tretira monolit klasične litereture kakav je „Faust“, a njegovu temu iluzije i zavedenosti čovjeka slavom i bogatstvom tretira formom koja zadirkuje percepcije gledaoca.

BEST FILM FIFFP 2022
The best feature film of this year’s festival selection share,
Utvandarna/ The Emigrants, Sweden 2021, director Erik Poppe.
MOTIVATION: This is a film production with a rich dramaturgical structure, excellent photography, subtle directing and epic strength in questioning, always current, especially in our country, the existentially significant theme of the search, firstly explained by Marx: “man’s eternal search for food” and then others, for example identity. Adaptation through the archetypal, nomadic search for a better place to live changes the individual, but also all those places around the world, that man has adapted to himself. What is the price of repatriation, where is our home, which memories do we carry with us as a life-burden, and which are ballast, are just some of the questions that this striking, melodramatically emotional story by an experienced director, opens up. According to the sense of atmosphere, he-director, could be called as the “middle brother” toward Terrence Frederick Malick as the eldest, and Robert Eggers as the youngest “film brother”. Best director in this category – Erik Poppe.

MOTIVATION: a current topic that at first glance takes us back to the times of war, but actually shows deeper social disharmony and danger that director Schmit successfully points out with his distinctive style and opens up a topic that we all avoid. Best leading actor – Rene Bitorajac.

MOTIVATION: In extremely strong competition, this film wins for two reasons: The first is an excellent structure and directing, and the second is a topic that, unfortunately, is very close to our pre-civilizational Balkan environment and important to “open up”. Themes as down syndrome, and society taboos related to their family life and the difficulties of their relatives and guardians, narrated in this way in a documentary structure, are engaged, direct, ennobling, extremely purifying and educational.

MOTIVATION: A story about one man’s willpower to change the world. With its originality and unique approach to the subject, it gives the viewer new perspectives, wider than those in which Gandhi worked.
AWARD FOR SHORT FILM

Suspension Bridge,

MOTIVATION: the bridge as a symbol of union, in this film realizes its full meaning when the main actor gives up his decision about the final ending – suicide. In the festival competition of different lengths, a golden mean was found. A film of almost ten minutes, artistic, thematic and even poetically is rounded, which guarantees a great impression and directs the viewer to easily recommend the film to others, and unfortunately, there are a lot of people who should watch it, because the theme is important by pointing meaninglessness and loneliness, in addition to all the comforts and shortcuts that we as a technologically superior race have provided for ourselves, and very current.

BEST ANIMATED FILM: Light and Shadows
Lights & Shadows, 2020, Serbia, author – Rastko Ćirić.
MOTIVATION: Film is a creative, interesting “cartoon”, which “summarizes” Goethe’s Faust in a short format, bringing it closer to a younger audience, and yet, there are also “layers” for adults. Inventive, layered, through essentially few artistic elements, it treats the monolith of classical literature such as “Faust”, and treats its theme of illusion and seduction of man by fame and wealth in a form that teases the viewer’s perceptions.
